Founded in 2008 by Randy Ruberg, Action Security was built on a simple, powerful belief: gated communities deserve reliable, responsive service that keeps residents moving safely and smoothly.
After years working in the access control and automated gate industry, Randy saw firsthand how slow response times and complicated processes left property managers frustrated and communities vulnerable. He set out to build something different: a lean, fast-acting, customer-driven service operation with a personal touch.
As demand grew, Randy recruited his son, Jeff Ruberg, to support the company’s expansion in 2014. Jeff holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from UCF and brought more than 20 years of dynamic experience, from operations scheduling to technology and electrical sales. Jeff helped Action Security optimize processes for continued growth, then managed technology, projects, and service operations across a growing client portfolio.
